. . .I suppose I was right. One way or another. . .

In my 4 years of posting my work online, I finally received my first piece of UNconstructive criticism. I'm going Joker mode, you know, mask-off doomer blackpill.

My mistake was thinking that animations are art.

I wanted to make an animation about a cute plant pokemon getting fucked, who by the end gets cummed and it loops over again. But too many Newgrounds users, when they look at this, they immediately get triggered by it. So the thing is, animations aren't art, they're toys for children, and it's considered in bad form to talk about anything meaningful, impactful, or thought provoking, or to even invoke maturity in any capacity.

If you can't tell, I'm joking (and not in a Joker mode way). Although, I really did get my first bit of unhelpful criticism. And to the other one, sure bro, I'll add balls next time, just for you bro ❤

There comes a time in every artist's life where they must find a new place to show their true selves. I say that, but Pixiv is actually very nice to me, and hasn't ruined it, yet. Regardless, I have to find a new place because I'm TOO ambitious, and Pixiv's video options are very limited.

Some of my videos, though, are more "Adult oriented". I know Newgrounds has an A section, but I've always had the nagging feeling that this place isn't for that, except for those like Zone. After playing an MLP sex game on here, then seeing the ads. . .well, the feeling has been tempered. Tom Fulp made this place as a safe space for creators of all kinds, and is rightfully iffy on A content, as it can be a slippery slope. Even then, artists like Somescrub, Lewdua, Zheng, SlipperyT, Limebreaker, and even. . .Mistpirit, are here, so I feel fairly welcome. Although, I'll keep the A content to the greatest possible minimum here as I don't want that to be what I'm mostly known as, at least on this site. It's a struggle juggling my image as a horny artist and as anything else, really.

So why did I pick Newgrounds? Narcissism.

Ok, not really. Well, kind of? Maybe? I would've gone with Twitter, but I don't want some close people that follow me to know, yet. Someplace like Baraag is nice, but has 0 discoverability. And that's why I'm here. Plus, I've been wanting to invade this place for a decent while anyway. I'm a little angry at the discrimination of short names though. I wanted to be myself: Jx. But I had to go for JxAlom instead. Ignore the Alom part, I'm simply Jx. Also, you can make some pretty massive news posts, huh? I can still type 31,113 more characters. . .
